Senior Communication Specialist - UAE National (1 year contract)

Role: Senior Communications Specialist - UAE National - (1 year contract) 

Based in: Abu Dhabi

Our client, based in Abu Dhabi is looking for a Senior Communication Specialist to establish a consistent channel of communications with internal and external stakeholders and ensure timely and accurate communication of corporate messages to the target audience. 

Core Responsibilities: 

• Provide high-level support to the Communications Director to create and maintain internal and external communication programmes to establish an ongoing channel of communications across the Group, stakeholders, media and community
• Implement stakeholder management strategies that deliver results across all  divisions
• Create, review and verify all content, including, but not limited to, the website, newsletters, internal announcements, external announcements and leadership speeches and talking points
• Liaise with MARCOM functions consistently to support the delivery of high-quality marketing, branding, digital and events campaigns and initiatives
• Coordinate with external agencies and vendors to ensure effective and timely delivery of services including communications strategies, plans, media activities, thought-leadership events and campaigns
• Build and maintain an up-to-date media database and communication tracker for effective media relations with local, regional and international media outlets
• Liaise with Cluster’s communications functions to align on major announcements, communications plans and strategies 
• Prepare reports that accurately reflect KPI performance, initiatives launched, announcements, interviews, as well as other communications activities, as required
• Stay abreast of the latest marketing communication tools and industry trends using the research tools and platforms available

Experience : 

• Experience in content creation, communications, translation and public relations. 
• Work experience in a range of different settings – the majority to be internal and external communications. 
• Ability to deliver factual material on time. 
• Commercial and cultural awareness
