Senior Channel Account Manager – Gulf
The Senior Channel Account Manager for Productivity Solutions and Services (PSS) is responsible for driving channel sales growth in the Gulf region. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong relationship management skills to build and maintain partnerships with channel partners. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Automatic Identification and Data Capture (AIDC) business and a proven track record of achieving sales targets through channel development.
Key responsibilities
1. Channel Strategy Development:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive channel strategy to drive revenue growth for PSS in the Gulf region.
- Identify and recruit new channel partners, ensuring alignment with company goals and market needs.
2. Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing channel partners.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for channel partners, providing support and guidance to maximize sales opportunities.
3. Sales Enablement:
- Ensure periodic training and resources to channel partners to enhance their understanding of PSS products and services.
- Collaborate with partners to develop joint marketing initiatives and sales campaigns in Gulf region.
4. Performance Tracking:
- Monitor and analyze channel performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market conditions, and competitive landscape for management using CRM tools such as Salesforce (SFDC).
5. Forecasting and Planning:
- Work closely with the order management team to forecast sales and quarterly inventory planning with the Gulf Distributors.
- Participate in quarterly business reviews with key channel partners to assess performance and set future goals.
6. Market Intelligence:
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to effectively position PSS solutions.
- Gather feedback from partners and customers to inform product development and marketing strategies.
Key skills and qualifications
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a technical discipline; MBA is a plus.
· 5+ years of experience in channel sales or partner management, preferably in the Automatic Identification and Data Capture (AIDC) business or similar IT channel management.
· Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving channel growth.
· Strong understanding of AIDC product & solutions, software, and services.
Skills:
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with partners and stakeholders.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
· Proficient in CRM software (Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
