Apply now for the position of Senior Bid Manager and you will create/review the application, submission, process management and reporting of tenders within Middle East Market by coordinating with all required stakeholders such as business partners, customer service, sales & marketing, business lines, legal and regulatory.


Your role:


  • Analyzes the bid requirements and ensures that all aspects of the proposal comply with client specifications and organizational standards (LOA, Credit Committee and Fin Risk Directives).
  • Acts as a commercial partner for the Sales team including customer interactions and negotiations where necessary.
  • Responsible for collation of costs and review of documents, calculation of pricing, participation in MM deal escalations whilst ensuring timely offer submission to the customer.
  • Acts as a final quality gate keeper in terms of correct and pre-approved pricing, pre-approved Margins, pre-approved terms, and conditions etc. thereby adhering to SHS favorable contract conditions.
  • Identifies and assesses potential risks associated with contract timelines and terms and conditions. Develops risk mitigation strategies to minimize the same.
  • Ability to identify relevant accounting and finance aspects in the offering process, (e.g. Steering on preferable payment terms, alternate financing options and requesting of hedge contracts.
  • Drafts, edit, and reviews proposal content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment with client requirements. Also creates and manages proposal templates to ensure they are up-to-date and reflective of best practices.
  • Initiates order handing over process by preparing and consolidating all necessary documents and information for handover to OTC.
  • Monitoring adherence to internal controls and compliance guidelines during the offer process.
  • Understands, implements, and continuously improves the Bid processes to achieve departmental goals, quality objectives and Company’s mission.

Your expertise:


  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in bid proposal and Contract Management.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex bid documents and requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills and strong Team Player.
  • Very advanced in time management skills, knows how to adjust own behavior under pressure.
  • Completely focus on providing ultimate support towards target achievements.
  • Fluent in English. Fluency in Arabic is an additional advantage.
