OVERALL PURPOSE:
To lead the overall planning, management, and execution of operational, compliance, and performance audits of Auditees in the Industry Department to assess the economy, efficiency, and effectiveness of the operational activities, spending of public funds, and ensure compliance to stated policies, procedures and legislations. Additionally, lead Performance Audit related practice/service expertise and capability building development and research efforts.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Contribute to shaping and driving of FAA’s strategy to achieve its overarching objectives.
• Align the specific Industry related Financial, Compliance and Performance Audit strategy to the FAA’s strategy, and continuously monitor its effectiveness. Ensure that strategy is regularly updated when required.
• Actively contribute to the development of the organization’s capabilities and culture to establish consistent quality of work and rigorous risk management processes.
• Drive performance and the intellectual capability and capacity of the Operations, Compliance and Performance Audit, and support executive management in decision making avoiding legal implications in order to protect the interests of FAA.
• Prepare comprehensive audit programs for the audit assignments
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Business/Accounting (Masters preferred)
License/ Certification:
• Professional certifications such as CIA and CPA are required. Additional Information Systems auditing certifications
Minimum Experience:
• 10+ years of relevant experience
