Job Title: Sr./ Investor Relations Analyst JOB PURPOSEThe jobholder is responsible to collect, analyze and present information that is relevant to investor relations management, in line with corporate and investor relations strategy and guidelines, in order to ensure that all IR data are correctly interpreted and that the information communicated by Investor Relation to investors and management, as well.This role includes; preparing and gathering the Market Outlook & Industry Trends’ information and inputs, working on its analysis to come up with scenarios to support the decision making, and play a vital role in the investment sourcing, while supporting and preparing the investment reports and updates.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESMarket Outlook & Industry TrendsGather information pertaining to the performance of various business units in relation with the internal reports of by various functions and company’s enterprise systems.Follow up, and update the latest industry and market trends, prepare market outlooks and relevant industry peers data as part of the required studies and communications.Monitor and analyze shareholder information, including changes in ownership, keep track of trading activity and investor meetings and identify different approaches to strengthen investor engagement program and to target new pool of investors.Build up the market and industry information platforms, and ensure timely gathering of market and industry inputs, as part of the periodic updates; i.e. monthly, quarterly, annual, etc.Setup the benchmarking criteria, peers, frequency, etc. to as part of the contiguous reviews of the market and industry information gathering.Coordinate with ADX to obtain trading log reports and shareholding register on timely basis.Analysis & ScenariosUpdate data on company’s stock price, trading volumes, analysts’ forecasts, investors’ feedback as well as similar data of industry peers for performance reporting and benchmarking purpose.Analyze the sourced data to generate business models and scenarios, and recommend reports and summaries to be communicated to direct manager, and respective management, investors and analysts.Analyze, review and investigate the benchmarking inputs and data outcomes to interpret Borouge’s positioning and enterprise performance.Analyze competitors’ and industry’s performance metrics and prepare a summary report as and when required by the management.Support development of internal financial and research models and scenarios to support the monthly reporting, analysis, and updates.Analyze and summarize financial as well as operational data reported by third-parties about the company and industry.Contribute to conference, roadshow, analyst / investor / capital market days, site visits, general assemblies, black-out periods, dividend payment dates, and other investor activities.Investment SourcingCoordinate with Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange (ADX) and Securities & Commodities Authority (SCA) to source latest regulatory requirements for listed companiesIdentify new pool of local high net worth retail investors, family offices and institutions and suggest approaches to pitch our equity story to potential investors.Prepare and deliver presentations to management and potential investors in presence of management as and when required.Support sourcing of and negotiation with external vendors (Investor Relations CRM platforms, Industry data providers, Investor Events Management Companies, Annual report/ESG Report content writing and design agencies etc.) as part of Investor Relations plan.Support implementation of investor relations strategy to diversify shareholding base and improve trading liquidity by targeting new pool of local investors.Reports & CoordinationSupport the preparation of quarterly and yearly reports; i.e. Earnings, Annual Report, Corporate Governance Report, ESG Report, etc. for shareholders and management, ensuring that reports contain all relevant and correct information for the respective target audience.Prepare relevant materials for internal and external meetings and presentations, in line with the agreed-upon content to ensure that the information shared is relevant, correct and timely available.Collaborate and coordinate with Communications, Sustainability, Admin Services, etc. the key events and meetings to ensure proper presentence of the company’s leadership and management.Support preparation of Investor Relations Annual Budget.Manage and maintain the Investor Relations mailbox, and answer queries and requests received through the IR email in line with IR practices and policies.Develop, update and maintain Investor Relations database, while supporting the IR team in preparing the IR Dashboard and other reports for Borouge’s Management.Coordinate with ADX (as shareholder registrar) to ensure approved dividends are paid and AGM invitations are sent to all of company’s shareholders as per agreed timeline, in line with Investment DoA.Upload, and communicate all regulatory filings to ADX/SCA on timely basis, as per the ADX/SCA timelines.Minimum QualificationUniversity degree in Finance, Accounting or relevant financial or accounting disciplinesFluency in English Language; written and oralPostgraduate degree or MBA in Investment Management, Financing or relevant disciplines, is an advantage.Fluency in English and Arabic languages; written and oralComputer literacy; Microsoft office and ERPMinimum Experience & Knowledge & SkillsMinimum of 5 - 8 years of total experience in Investment Relations, Stock Market / Exchange, Market Analysis, Investment, Brokerage or relevant designations.Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPointBasic proficiency in financial databases (Bloomberg, Factset) is a plus.Exposure to work with Business Process Design and Management, Information Management, Accounting PrinciplesDeep knowledge and understanding of the capital markets, investment guidelines,Good communication and inter-personal skillsHands on financial modelling techniques and valuation methods used by analysts and investors.Professional CertificationsPreferred to be certified in Financial Management; i.e. ACA, ACCA, CPA, CFA, CMA, etc.
