Position Overview
The Senior Accountant is responsible for delivering comprehensive financial accounting services, ensuring the accurate, timely, and efficient payment of accounts and the meticulous recording of financial transactions. This role is pivotal in maintaining financial integrity, supporting business operations, and providing insights for decision-making.

As a Senior Accountant you will

• Execute daily supplier payments through the bank with precision and in line with company policies.
• Maintain detailed records of all transactions and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Perform regular reconciliations of all company bank accounts to ensure alignment between financial records and bank statements.
• Investigate and resolve any variances in a timely and efficient manner.
• Act as the primary liaison with the banking service team and Relationship Manager (RM), addressing inquiries and resolving issues as they arise.
• Oversee the booking, verification, and reconciliation of company credit card transactions.
• Ensure credit card statements are fully reconciled and discrepancies are addressed promptly.
• Prepare periodic reconciliations for delivery merchant accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Execute settlements efficiently, maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Generate and process monthly sales invoices, ensuring accurate posting to the General Ledger.
• Maintain compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Assist in calculating statutory deductions from payroll and ensure reconciliations are accurate.
• Post payroll-related entries and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Support the implementation and optimization of our ERP system.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate financial processes effectively into the ERP system.
• Assist the Financial Analyst with monthly reconciliations of income and expenses related to the delivery business.
• Provide insights and support for ad hoc business analysis requests, contributing to strategic decision-making.
• Prepare monthly schedules to track and compare actual financial results against forecasts or budgets.
• Attend business team meetings, address financial queries, and propose practical solutions.
• Foster collaboration across departments to ensure smooth financial operations.  

What we’re looking for

• CPA, CA, or ACCA qualification is required.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Experience with accounting software, preferably Oracle or similar ERP systems.
• 3-5 years of financial accounting experience, ideally within the delivery or logistics industry.
