As part of the local HUB team, the scientific communication specialist position will be a major co-pilot of the HUB accelerated growth. Acting as a demand co-pilot, the role assists the HUB manager in business development missions. The hub's perimeter is made of 9 countries: UAE, Qatar, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Kuwait, Libya and Yemen. This area is critical for the growth of the business unit.Client DetailsOur client has an ambition to become the reference in health nutrition for pet animals, specifically cats and dogs. DescriptionTraining and empowerment internal and external stakeholders with technical/scientific and product information in the light of Category Story - Ex. Veterinarians, breeders, University, distributor's team, newcomers...Translation and localization of scientific printed and digital materials and well as training content (e-learnings, webinars…).Keep up to date with all products launches and veterinary/scientific information (through continuing education) needed for the role.Develop partnership with all the Vet Universities of the perimeter.Serve as scientific spokesperson as required.Provide technical/product support and represent the company at local conferences/exhibitions/ Congresses.Provide logistical support in these seminars' organization.All the above should be delivered while working in partnership with each local importer (through joint business plans, and periodic catch ups and visits).Support consumer care teams with veterinary/product quality issues/issues management as required.Collaborate closely with the critical stakeholders including International Division and International Division Scientific Communications Managers, and local teams including the ones from the distributor.Support marketing/sales and digital teams during product launches/product focuses providing training and technical materials as required.Be an active part in the team's strategical thinking and agenda setting.Work hand-in-hand with the Marketing manager, based in Egypt and the line manager, based in France, to bring most value to the markets.ProfileDoctor in Veterinary Medicine, Bachelor of Veterinary Science or master's degree.3-5 years of veterinary practice experience.Fluent in English AND Arabic.Knowledge or high appetite for nutritional research around dogs and cats.Excellent communication and presentation skills (oral and written)Ability to work alone but also able to function well as a team player.Ability to travel up to 40% of the time (internationally)High ability to connect with different types of stakeholders and influence a regional distributors' network.Having an entrepreneurial spirit to implement test and learn projects in the hub countries.Sales experience is a plus.Evidence of external veterinary and scientific networks is a plus.
