Position at Al Nibras International Private School LLC Nibras International School is looking for a passionate School Transportation Coordinator to join the school immediately Job Purpose: For all staff in school we share a responsibility to ensure that children are always safe and properly supervised. The main purpose of the School Transport Coordinator is to coordinate the information, monitor and implement the school transport facility to students and staff. The post holder ensures smooth, safe and seamless transportation facility for students whilst complying with the requirements of UAE – RTA rules. Key qualities and skills:

Key duties include:
To undertake and review status of school transport on weekly basis to ensure the school is in compliance with RTA & UAE Government rules and standards. (Bus maintenance, RTA permit renewals for drivers and TA’s, salik renewals etc.)
To regularly review all aspects transport safety
Planning and implementing bus route for student and staff pick up and drop off
Ensure timely pick up and drop off for each student
Taking new student registration for transport service
Plan emergency transport requirements and other management requirements, when required
Assigning drivers and TA’s to the transport plan
Ensuring staff and parent satisfaction
Communicating with staff and parents where applicable
To provide a report to the Principal for any health and safety issues related to school transport
To coordinate any school related activities with drivers
Maintain and ensure accurate records of data in the School Management System
To be responsible for maintaining the booking system
Responsible for bus keys
Responsible for appropriate maintenance and safety checks carried out weekly
Ensure all buses have a Leader and an Assistant, for assisting the driver and Teacher Assistant in case of emergencies
Manage the back up plans for transport and manpower
Mandatory presence during RTA inspections and providing information in the best interest of the school
Customer Care
To provide quality services for customers requirements
To give customers the opportunity for feedback
To work towards customer satisfaction and ensure their needs are met
Update Principal about customer feedback with regards to service delivery
The post holder will be required to dress and act at all times as an example to the pupils within the school
Create a professional image for parents and visitors

Health and Safety
Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities
Assist in implementing all policies and rules governing student life and conduct
Ensure that, all the necessary health and safety rules and procedures are being followed
Maintain an awareness of all the health and safety measures to be taken when in school
First Aid experience and training
Position Requirements: Education:Bachelor’s Degree is an advantage Experience: Minimum 3 years’ experience in a relevant field Competencies:
Excellent communication skills and command of the English language, in spoken and written form
Outgoing pleasant manner
Presentation skills with the ability to present information in a concise and professional manner
Organization skills: well organized and able to prioritize tasks
UAE Governmental rules and regulations related school transport
