As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for building and executing the sales strategy that’s required to grow and maximize revenue growth for the dubizzle Cars vertical. You are a team player with good communication skills and commitment to success through teamwork whilst achieving personal targets and objectives. You will be comfortable working on your initiative, continually approaching prospective clients and generating new sales.


In this role, you will:


  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline of prospective clients;
  • Mentor and train employees to consistently demonstrate a full understanding of our market and business position;
  • Identify key talent in the team through effective coaching, 1-2-1's and performance reviews;
  • Discuss progression areas with key talent on their development areas and help drive their growth path;
  • Manage performance and results within the team and ensure delivery of budget commitments;
  • Play an active role in developing new recruits to the sales team so that they can consistently demonstrate agreed sales processes, product knowledge and company values;
  • Ensure that our clients receive the highest level of product quality, transparent reporting and outstanding customer service;
  • Analyze the competitive sales environment, and ensure that our proposals remain attractive;
  • Create a positive sales culture that promotes healthy competition within the team;
  • Set individual (and when required team targets) in line with company revenue aspirations and be relentless in meeting the objectives;
  • Be the client’s point of contact for both business and technical enquiries;
  • Execute cold-calling and tele-prospecting activities in order to maximize selling opportunities;
  • Collaborate closely with Cars Product Managers and Product Marketing Manager;
  • Proven track record of achieving success whilst working in a targeted and high-pressure environment;
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple accounts at one time.
