Objective: The Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving new sales and providing exceptional customer support to existing clients, with a focus on electrical motors, generators, and related services. This role involves managing client relationships, offering technical support, and ensuring customer satisfaction through the entire sales process. Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers while managing client accounts.
Identify potential customers, follow up on inquiries, and assist with technical queries.
Engage new clients by presenting our services and demonstrating how they add value to their organizations.
Analyze costs, prepare quotations, and negotiate tender and contract terms with clients.
Provide pre-sales technical assistance, product education, and manage sales-related projects.
Offer after-sales support to ensure client satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
Record and maintain accurate client contact data and prepare regular MIS reports.
Consistently meet and exceed sales targets.
Competencies:
Expertise in servicing electrical motors and generators, including AC, DC, alternators, and generators.
Strong understanding of the oil & gas and power generation industries.
Proficient in electrical testing methods and condition monitoring.
Knowledge of tender preparation, technical proposals, and electrical/rotating equipment servicing.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Strong presentation skills and the ability to professionally represent the company.
Self-motivated, well-organized, and presentable.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Relevant technical certifications are an advantage.
Minimum 4 years of experience in sales and service related to rotating electrical equipment.
