Job Description



The Role:



Seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to oversee and drive sales growth for ACDelco battery products across the Middle East and Africa (MEA). This position demands a highly motivated individual who is able to strategically expand ACDelco market share, build strong relationships with key clients, and achieve ambitious sales targets while managing intensive regional travel. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and implementing regional sales strategies, coordinating efforts with local teams, and ensuring that sales targets are consistently met or exceeded.

What You'll Do:



Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Planning:
Develop & execute a comprehensive sales strategy to expand market presence across the MEA region. Identify key market opportunities, monitor competitors, and evaluate trends to ensure growth and profitability. Set and drive sales targets to achieve regional growth in line with the company’s goals.
Financial Oversight:
Prepare and manage regional budgets, ensuring financial targets are met. Monitor and control expenses across & optimizing financial performance. Report on financial performance to senior management and recommend corrective actions as needed.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and strategic partners Conduct regular meetings with clients to understand their needs, provide product solutions, and ensure satisfaction. Resolve customer complaints, provide product expertise, and ensure high levels of customer retention.
Sales Execution:
Drive the sales process including the timely submission of the rolling forecast, placing the orders and ensure collection cycle is completed Collaborate with marketing, product development, and other departments to create tailored solutions for the region. Identify and develop new business opportunities and sales channels across diverse sectors Execute on the regional strategic plan by taking the full ownership on some projects and support on others
Reporting & Analysis:
Monitor sales performance through KPIs and provide regular reports on sales progress, market conditions, and competitor activity. Sales performance, and forecasts reporting Analyze sales data and customer feedback to continuously improve sales tactics and strategy.
Team Collaboration & Development:
Work closely with regional teams and local representatives to implement the sales strategy and improve regional sales performance. Provide leadership and guidance to the sales team, ensuring they are motivated and well-equipped to meet targets. Manage the relationship with the Battery Distributors and ensure Battery Distributors on track achieving the targets and executing on the strategic plan
Travel & Regional Presence:
Regular travel across the Middle East and Africa is required (up to 50-60% of the time), including customer visits, conferences, and industry events. Manage logistics of travel and meetings to maximize efficiency and ensure timely follow-ups with clients.

This role is based in Saudi Arabia

Qualifications, Skills & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree preferred) Proven experience (+10 years) in sales management within battery, energy, or automotive industries Strong understanding of the Middle East and Africa market dynamics and cultural dynamics Ability to meet and exceed ambitious sales targets and goals Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills Experience in managing key accounts and strategic partnerships Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Fluent in Arabic & English other languages relevant to the region is a plus Willingness and ability to travel extensively within the region (up to 50-60% of the time) Strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across functions and motivate teams Ability to relocate in KSA based on business requirements
