Room Technician
Job Specification:
Attend to all kinds of routine maintenance in guest rooms, villas and public areas including planned preventive maintenance, cleaning, repairs, etc.
Duties and Responsibilities*:
Maintain, repair, and attend to routine and planned maintenance, maintenance requests.
Carry out Planned Preventive Maintenance as per O&M manuals and schedules.
Maintains the rooms and assets to the highest standards.
Raise necessary purchase requests and checks that the correct materials are delivered as requested in terms of quality. Perform any other duties assigned. Contribute to hotel profitability, ensuring the serviceability of electromechanical facility in order to accomplish the highest standards of operating conditions at all times. The efficient and cost effective running of the Engineering department policies and procedures and they are fully endorsed and followed through. Actively involve Energy saving initiatives in the department Attend briefings, meetings, Town Hall meetings as required. Maintain good relationships with colleagues and contribute to team spirit. Cooperate and interact with other departments to provide additional/outstanding guest services.
Experience and Skills*:
High School or equivalent. Vocational Diploma or equivalent certificate in Electrical/Mechanical. Should be good in electromechanical engineering. Should have passion to learn new technology to implement in work area
