Could you be the full-time onsite Rolling Stock Engineer in Dubai, United Arab Emirates we’re looking for?
Your future role
"Take on a new challenge and apply your comprehensive traction motor refurbishment expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside driven, meticulous, and collaborative teammates. You'll lead pivotal retrofit operations to enhance the performance of Dubai Metro 2020 project metropolis trains. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Engineering, Logistics, Quality Assurance), supervise and mentor a team of technicians, and much more."
We’ll look to you for:
Issuing progress reports and ensuring they accurately reflect the current status of the refurbishment activity.,
Diligently following up on traction motor retrofit operations across all depots to maintain project momentum.,
Reporting and registering any deviations (failures/events) to the RSK Lead Engineer promptly and accurately.,
Executing tests to evaluate system performance and conducting failure analysis on parts due to be returned for repair.,
Leading and supervising a team of technicians, providing guidance and oversight for traction motor retrofit and daily operational tasks.,
Ensuring efficient information flow regarding interventions and operations within retrofit activities to support effective shift transitions.,
Performing post-work testing and validation as necessary to confirm the quality and success of the retrofit.,
Closing the Work orders for all work carried out, ensuring a clear and traceable record of completed tasks.,
Reporting any damage or shortages of parts/tools to the logistic department to facilitate the timely replacement or ordering of necessary spares, consumables, tools, etc.,
Upholding the Quality requirements for field modification deployment/Retrofit, ensuring all work meets Alstom's high standards.

Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering,
Experience or understanding of rolling stock major maintenance projects,
Knowledge of bogie and traction motor overhauling,
Familiarity with retrofit operations and failure analysis,
