Job Description
Operational Oversight
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the custody services, ensuring efficient and secure management of digital assets. Implement and maintain robust operational processes, including transaction monitoring, asset segregation, and reconciliation. Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and quality in service delivery. Coordinate with the technology team to ensure the reliability and scalability of custody systems and infrastructure.
Risk Management
Develop and implement a comprehensive risk management framework to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with digital asset custody. Conduct regular risk assessments, scenario analysis, and stress testing to evaluate the impact of potential adverse events. Monitor and analyze emerging risks in the cryptocurrency market, including regulatory changes, technological advancements, and market trends. Collaborate with the compliance team to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Stakeholder Communication
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, regulators, and auditors. Prepare and present reports on risk and operational performance to senior management and the board of directors.
Qualifications
At least 5-8 years of experience in risk management and operations, preferably in the cryptocurrency or financial services industry Strong understanding of digital asset custody, blockchain technology, and the regulatory landscape Proven track record of developing and implementing risk management frameworks and operational processes Good organizational, communication, presentation and leadership skills Ability to apply a strategic mindset to make sound decisions for the business, and at the same time able to execute individually in collaboration with other teams Self-driven, analytical and proactive problem solver Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Ability to multitask and keen eye to details Sensitive to processes, with clear and logical thinking Native / Fluent in English
