Provide comprehensive support to Revenue Optimisation (RO) Officers, Analysts and Managers within the various units in the department by collecting, analysing, and reporting data required to aid RO decision making processes. Develop and maintain expertise around revenue management principles and techniques to continuously improve the pricing, revenue management, distribution applications and reporting. 

Job Outline:


  • Support the department in maximising revenue and yield through performing manually intensive functions thus allowing for effective time management by senior RO resources to best achieve departmental targets and goals.
  • Ensure RO standards and procedures are followed by RO Market Operations team, Pricing Distribution, Inventory and Revenue Steering & Standards
  • Continuously review the practice, procedures of the function to improve efficiency and cost saving, communicate all business requirements to the line manager, RO Standards and Procedures team and RO systems team to ensure operational requirements are delivered.

  • Analyse forward booking data and assist in creating reports for senior management highlighting the areas of concern in the revenue generation process as to proactively take corrective actions.
  • Evaluate group utilisation and prepare management reports to be circulated to the Emirates Senior Management. Prepare report on group deposits and their materialisation and misuse of group procedures. 

Specific Reservations and Ticketing Services:


  • Plan, organize and action all aspects of services and support within the Reservations & Ticketing unit to ensure that the ticket offices world-wide are fully supported on a 24 x 7 x 365 basis.
  • Resolve operational issues in the areas of PNR/ Segment handling, Medical Passengers, Groups, Upgrades , Rejected teletype messages, Movement messages, Disruption handling, Help Desk/Mail box and escalate issues where required.
  • Update the relevant databases to ensure that the products utilised by various internal and external customers are customised and maintained on an on-going basis.
  • Review that the schedules are updated related to codeshare flights and that codeshare partners are in sync. Perform integrity checks on MARS availability/schedule displays on a weekly basis to check for any discrepancy.
  • Assist EK network including all Airports with Reservations related queries to ensure on time flight departure. Extend timely action on seat confirmation requests for high profile customers - IO/platinum/gold members as per seat guarantee process. 
  • Process service requests on individual PNRs that come up on the various queues in Mars and correct PNRs where they have incomplete services or incorrect formats thus ensuring maximum customer satisfaction is maintained and complaints are minimized. 
  • Identify, action & communicate re-bookings of passengers affected by an EK Flight Disruption, ensuring that they are handled according to EK procedures in a timely manner in close co-ordination with the stations concerned/ VPNC/ Manager Airport Services/RevOps and other airlines whilst ensuring retention on EK and minimal inconvenience to the customer.
