Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, creating a positive first impression.
- Manage the reservation system and waitlist, ensuring accurate seating arrangements.
- Lead the guests to their tables, providing them with menus and answering any initial questions.
- Monitor table rotation and availability, communicating with waitstaff and management to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized hostess station, ensuring all necessary materials are stocked and readily available.
- Respond to phone inquiries, providing accurate information and addressing guest concerns.
- Collaborate with the waitstaff and management to deliver an exceptional dining experience.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
*Qualifications:*
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in hospitality are a plus.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a hostess, preferably in a Lebanese or Middle Eastern restaurant environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with guests and colleagues.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Lebanese cuisine and food and beverage service standards is a plus.
- Flexibility to work in various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
