In –house facilities are mentioned first in a positive manner. Reservations for bookings are provided with verbal and written confirmation.
All travel information to be provided promptly. Airline reservations, reconfirmation provided.
Ability to understand and exceed guest’s expectations and needs.
Ability to communicate and interact with multi-cultural clientele.
Be aware of possible VIPs arriving or visiting the Food and Beverage outlets. Ensure that VIPs are met and escorted to their destination.
Be familiar with the functions of the day and assist with the arrival of VIPs.
Responsible for maintaining guest’s profiles so that we have an accurate source of information regarding each customer’s needs and preferences.
Develop and maintain an outstanding level of product knowledge and area knowledge.
Ability to build lasting partnerships with outside service providers.
Look for ways to continuously improve personal knowledge and skills and be actively involved with Management in the creation of S&P’s and best practices.
Messages are delivered within 10 minutes of being received at the hotel.
Items requested from guestrooms are delivered within 10 minutes of the request being received.
Follow up on wake up calls occurs within 5 minutes of the request being received.
Concierge desk is kept tidy.
Manage the runners, doormen and overlook the valet team.
To report any security matters to the manager or supervisor on duty.
To report any Health & Safety hazards.
To follow security procedures at all times.
To be fully conversant with fire & bomb procedures.
Ensure cleanliness, availability and good working condition of equipment and supplies.
Monitor and maintain the condition of the Front Hall/Lobby.
Support the conservation of energy and protection of the environment.
To carry out any other reasonable management request.
Ensure that the Concierge team and Front of House Manager are kept fully aware of any relevant feedback from either guest or other departments.
