Job Purpose:


The role consists of acquiring, managing and developing commercial and corporate relationships (funded and non-funded). The role should focus on increasing profitability and improving overall credit quality as well as managing the existing and new acquired portfolio, doing due diligence, investigations, writing and assessing credit risk of proposals by ensuring risks and processes are within SIB acceptable standards.


Key Accountabilities:


  • Endeavor to increase new relationship with high standards of customer service and delivery.
  • Achieve assigned annual target for both assets & liabilities, including new relationship.
  • Ensure accurate analysis to customer request.
  • Prepare an annual target list in consultation with the HOD
  • Maintain high standards of ethics and integrity in dealing with customers and colleagues
  • Ensure effective follow up and monitoring of account to avoid down grading and delinquency.
  • Achieve assigned portfolio profitability through increasing limit utilization, fees and commission and ancillary business.
  • Ensure a well-diversified portfolio and avoid concentration.
  • Ensure visiting clients premises at least on quarterly basis
  • Ensure compliance with the Banks policies and Sharia requirements.
  • Identify cross selling opportunities
  • Any other job assigned by HOD
  • Ensure collecting all security documents.
  • Ensure compliance with consumer protection standards including treating customers fairly, providing accurate information about products or services, responding promptly and courteously to inquiries, complaints, and feedbacks, protecting customer data, identifying and reporting any suspicious or fraudulent activities, continuously improving customer service and keeping abreast of regulatory expectations and SIB Conduct Risk Framework and associated procedures.
  • The employee should demonstrate a thorough understanding of Consumer Protection Regulations and adhere to the bank's standards for fair treatment of customers, ethical conduct, and prompt resolution of customer complaints, provide accurate and comprehensive information to customers, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The employee should continuously strive to improve their knowledge of Consumer Protection Regulations and seek opportunities to provide input on bank policies and practices

Technical Skills:


  • Strong Analytical skills
  • High level proficiency in risk management (especially
  • Good Knowledge in managing problematic loans
  • Knowledge of Banking's theory and practice as well as the Central Bank's regulations and procedures
  • Competency in conducting Market surveys and interpretation of its results for effective usage
  • Competency in Appraisal / Assessment of credit proposals
  • Knowledge of trade finance process and transactions

Qualifications & Experience:


  • Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor: Financial & Banking Science, Financial Management
  • Minimum Experience: At least 6-7 years banking experience in corporate banking in relationship
  • Language Skills: Strong on both oral and written Arabic & English.
  • Computers/ Systems / Software Skills: MS Office - T24 Software - Expert
