What you will contribute:As the Regional Financial Analyst you will be responsible for financial management of the Middle East regional business and provide day-to-day and strategic financial support to the Regional Heads of Sales. Principally this will mean managing monthly financial reporting and analysis, budgeting and forecasting, due diligence on new initiatives and business opportunities, financial modelling, margin review, and creation and maintenance of dashboards indicating financial performance, agent performance and general business trends. The role reports to the Head of Financial, Planning & Analysis – Middle East & SAAPAC. What you’ll do: Provide guidance and support to the Middle East sales team in financial matters, to assist in achieving regional objectives. Conduct daily & monthly reporting and insightful analysis for review with Regional team & Global finance. Drive the forecast and budget processes that link into the corporate planning requirements and deadlines. Strong presentation of budget plans with emphasis on revenue and profitability management. Perform business case analysis and due diligence on new initiatives and business opportunities for the region. Financial tracking of key business initiatives. Prepares comprehensive financial and general business presentations that reflect strong strategic thinking and analysis. Guides decisions related to deal structures and revenue recognition. Provide input and support to the Head of Financial, Planning & Analysis – Middle East & SAAPAC as required on ad hoc initiatives. Perform other duties as required.Who we’re looking for:Any combination of relevant education and experience and/or related professional designations/certifications in this field is highly desirable.Education Minimum Required: Accounting Qualification or relevant Degree.Experience 5-7 years of relevant experience in FP&A. Proven experience in building financial models used for forecasting & opportunity appraisal. Experience in a global organization and financial services industry.Essential Skills Professional level proficiency in Microsoft Access, Excel and PowerPoint. Working knowledge of databases is highly desirable (Essbase, Oracle EBS and Cognos Analytics). Strong and proven business partnering and relationship building skills. Comfortable working with and analyzing financial information and relevant financial metrics. Exceptional standards and an ongoing desire to drive improvements in processes, systems, outputs and quality. Flexibility, independence and initiative to perform successfully in a growing and constantly changing environment. Solid communication skills to deal effectively with various levels of management, staff, and/or outside contacts.
