As a Recruitment Officer focusing on Healthcare Recruitment, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process for our healthcare organization. Your key responsibility will be sourcing, attracting, and hiring qualified healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of patient care. You will work closely with department heads to understand staffing needs, navigate healthcare-specific recruitment challenges, and ensure compliance with industry regulations. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in healthcare recruitment, with a deep understanding of healthcare roles and a passion for making a meaningful impact in the healthcare industry.
Oversee the entire recruitment process for healthcare roles, from job requisition to the final hire.
Partner with department heads and healthcare managers to assess staffing needs across various departments and specialties.
Understand and adapt to the unique staffing needs of healthcare organizations, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, including licensing and certifications.
Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies using various channels, including healthcare job boards, professional associations, social media, and networking events.
Proactively search for passive candidates and build a strong pipeline of talent for current and future healthcare staffing needs.
Review resumes and applications, identifying candidates who meet the qualifications for various healthcare roles.
Conduct initial phone screenings and interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
Ensure that candidates meet the necessary healthcare qualifications and licensure requirements.
Facilitate the interview process, scheduling interviews, and providing timely feedback to candidates and hiring managers.
Engage with candidates throughout the recruitment process, maintaining a positive candidate experience and ensuring transparent communication.
Extend job offers to selected candidates, ensuring they understand the compensation package, job expectations, and the onboarding process.
Manage the onboarding process, including background checks, drug screenings, and orientation sessions.
Ensure all new hires comply with necessary healthcare certifications, licensing, and regulatory requirements before beginning their roles.
Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure smooth integration of new hires into the organization.
Generate and analyze reports on key recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill, applicant sources, and retention rates.
Use data to assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and identify areas for improvement in the process.
Provide recommendations and implement improvements to enhance recruitment outcomes and streamline the hiring process.
Stay informed about changes in healthcare regulations and recruitment best practices to ensure compliance and competitiveness in recruitment efforts.
Continuously refine recruitment strategies to ensure a high-quality candidate pipeline and reduce hiring time.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare recruitment, including end-to-end recruitment management.
Skills:
Strong understanding of healthcare staffing needs and industry regulations.
Proven experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
