The radio station will have a business-oriented focus, with minimal music content. Additionally, the station will cover a diverse range of topics such as medicine, technology, sports, finance, real estate, and more throughout its airtime.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering news updates every half hour, adhering to the station's schedule.
- Conducting the main news bulletin at the start of each hour.
- Presenting business news during the mid-hour segments.
- Hosting live broadcasts and engaging with listeners.
- Working effectively in a breaking news scenario.
- Writing news scripts, conducting rewrites, and selecting news materials for the news feed.
- Demonstrating a high level of literacy and grammar proficiency.
- Keeping up-to-date with current affairs, including international news topics.
- Articulating thoughts and ideas clearly through both written and verbal communication.
- Researching and understanding unfamiliar topics quickly and efficiently.
- Managing a large amount of information and sources effectively.
