Your Role – International, Challenging And Future-Oriented!
1. Supports the Business Unit EHS Manager in fulfilling her/his EHS responsibility, i. e.
• Performing required organizational-, selection-, and supervisory duties,
• Support the BU EHS Manager in defining product- and business-specific EHS-related requirements and standards for the BU.
2. Support the BU EHS Manager in guiding and consulting, in shaping the work system elements (work environment, work tasks, workflows and processes, work equipment etc.) to reduce risks and enable optimized eco efficiency, health and wellbeing, safety and resilience in operations and performing work. Supports or participates in incident investigation teams attributed to EHS
Areas of Responsibilities
• Support the BU EHS manager in global and local BU EHS requirements and programs
• Support the BU EHS manager in annual EHS internal and external Audits
• Liaise with the BU project teams for project activity and support in EHS documentation
• Support the projects in creating a risk assessment and method statement for the projects
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure that are communicated with project team.
• Conduct a regular safety induction and TBT to project team and ensure that all personnel are aware of safety regulations and procedures.
• Ensure the EHS plan, Risk assessment, method statements and safety procedures are implemented in the projects.
• Assist the BU EHS manager in conducting EHS training
• Maintain records of safety inspections, TBT, and Nearmiss and ensure compliance with Siemens safety guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for BU KPIs, inspection incidents, and training.
• Support the BU EHS manager in investigating accidents and near misses, document findings, and recommend corrective actions to prevent future incidents.
• Monitor compliance with safety standards and regulations set by the Dubai Municipality Code of Construction and ADPHC
• Collaborate with project managers and project teams to address safety concerns and implement safety measures.
• Establishing and maintaining effective communication channels with external organizations e.g. governmental bodies, customers, etc.
Requirements:
Emirati National
Diploma or equivalent (preferably in EHS, Science, chemical, or Engineering/Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil)
NEBOSH IGC certification in Occupational health and safety is (Advanced)
Ability to travel between sites/working locations across UAE.
