QA/QC MANAGER

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

The purpose of a QAQC Manager is to ensure that construction projects are executed to the highest standards of quality, meeting both client expectations and regulatory requirements. The QAQC Manager oversees all quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) processes, ensuring compliance with codes, standards, specifications, and project objectives.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop, implement, and maintain QAQC plans and procedures for construction projects.
• Ensure all project activities comply with local regulations, international standards, and client requirements.
• Monitor and report on quality performance metrics and recommend improvements.
• Oversee inspections and testing to verify compliance with project specifications.
• Conduct internal and external quality audits to ensure adherence to QAQC procedures.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure materials and workmanship meet required standards.
• Lead and mentor the QAQC team to ensure effective implementation of quality policies.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to resolve quality issues promptly.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive QAQC documentation, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and corrective action plans.
• Submit regular quality reports to senior management and clients, highlighting project quality status and risks.
• Identify and assess potential quality risks and implement measures to mitigate them.
• Ensure corrective actions are effectively implemented for identified issues.
• Stay updated on UAE regulations and construction codes and ensure all project deliverables adhere to these requirements.


KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• BE/B-Tech in  Civil Engineering.
• Over 10 years of QAQC experience in the UAE construction industry, preferably with contracting firms.
• Proficiency in quality management systems and tools, including ISO standards.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Availability: Immediate.
