QA Engineer

12-month initial contract – with extensions

Abu Dhabi – relocation is required!

Up to 25K AED p/month + visa + healthcare

My client is on the hunt for a QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing and automation, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Collaborate with developers, QA analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Identify, document, and track bugs, issues, and improvements.
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data for automated testing.
• Perform regression testing and analyze test results to ensure software quality.
• Integrate automated tests into continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Continuously improve the automation framework and processes to enhance test efficiency and coverage.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in QA automation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in QA automation engineering.
• Proficiency in Python
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit).
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
