We are currently seeking a motivated individual for the position of Purchasing Intern at our office in Dubai. The following tasks will be assigned to the Purchasing Intern:
Assist the procurement team in sourcing and selecting suppliers.
Support the procurement manager in conducting market research and analysing vendor performance.
Assist in preparing purchase orders and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
Help maintain accurate records of procurement activities and update the inventory management system.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth procurement processes.
The internship program is a 6 to 12-month program that we request the candidate to commit to. It is also essential for the candidate to have a valid visa to stay in the country during the internship program legally. The internship program may be extended up to the duration of one year.
Requirements
Hold a valid student or family VISA;
Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively;
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word and Power Point;
Ability to work well in a team environment and meet deadlines;
Passion for pursuing a career in the automotive sector;
Hold a degree in economics or a related field;
Fluent in English (proficiency in Italian, Arabic, or Russian is a plus);
Proficient in utilizing new technologies, tools, and applications.
Strong communication, teamwork, and presentation skills.
