Travel daily within the regional territory, either independently or with management, to ensure maximum order intake and receipt of relevant market and competitor information.
Cultivate contacts with existing and potential customers, and industry contact to maximize business opportunities and ensure sensitivity and response to changing customer and market needs.
Respond to prospect inquiries regarding Company after sales products or capabilities.
Conduct machine inspections in line with the manufacturer’s recommendations and arrange, submit and follow up on quotations for the required repairs.
Establish and cultivate a relationship with prospects that supports and educates the prospect throughout the planning and procurement process. Recommend and accompany qualified prospects on tours of existing customers' facilities.
Prepare parts and/or service quotations together with the PSSR Team Leader/Parts Branch Manager consistent with standard Company pricing policies and standard Company terms and conditions. Ensure that any deviations are properly approved according to Company policy.
Provide regular sales trip reports, order forecasts, market information, competitor information and customer feedback to the PSSR Team Leader.
Maintain sufficient customer contact and knowledge and keep the Company apprised of customer requirements, project funding and budget levels, technical specifications, bid solicitations, required contract terms, and schedules.
Provide information to the PSSR Team Leader/Parts Branch Manager to assist in the development of the annual budgets and orders forecasts on after sales products.
Maintain a positive attitude and support the Company's policies, procedures, products and programs internally and externally.
