Job Title: Protocol Officer to the Founder and Executive ChairmanDepartment: Executive OfficeReports To: Executive Chairman and Office ManagerRecruitment Firm: REAP HR & RECRUITMENTPosition SummaryOur client is seeking a highly skilled Protocol Officer plays a key role in ensuring that all activities, events, and interactions involving the Founder and Executive Chairman are conducted according to the highest standards of protocol, etiquette, and professionalism. This position involves managing formalities, ceremonies, and social interactions, particularly when dealing with dignitaries, clients, and key stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesProtocol Management:Develop and implement protocols for various events, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and etiquette.Oversee the planning and execution of official functions, meetings, and ceremonies involving the Executive Chairman.Event Coordination:Coordinate logistics for official events hosted by or attended by the Executive Chairman, including scheduling, venue selection, guest arrangements, and catering.Ensure all event materials are prepared, such as agendas, invitations, and seating plans.Liaison Role:Serve as the primary point of contact for external stakeholders, such as government officials, diplomats, and high-profile guests, facilitating smooth communication.Conduct background checks and maintain contact records for external stakeholders.Manage introductions and seating arrangements to ensure protocol is upheld during events and meetings.Advisory Role:Provide advice to the Executive Chairman and other executives on protocol and etiquette matters, ensuring they are well-prepared for interactions with dignitaries and key stakeholders.Stay updated on current trends and best practices in protocol to help enhance the organization’s reputation and professionalism.Documentation and Reporting:Maintain accurate records of protocol-related activities, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and relevant regulations.Prepare post-event reports and assessments to evaluate the success of events and meetings, identifying areas for improvement.QualificationsExperience:Previous experience in a protocol or event management role, preferably in corporate, governmental, or diplomatic settings.Education:A Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Hospitality Management, International Relations, or a related field is preferred.Skills:Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to confidently interact with high-profile individuals.Demonstrated understanding of international protocols and etiquette.Attributes:Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and professionalism.Capable of working under pressure while managing multiple responsibilities.Discreet, diplomatic, and able to maintain confidentiality.Working Conditions:The Protocol Officer may need to work flexible hours, especially during events or meetings that require additional preparation and coordination.Occasional travel may be required for events held outside the primary locationBenefitsSalary: To be determinedGender: FemaleNationality: Indian, Pakistani, British, European, American, Arab, or British NationalLanguage: Excellent command of English is required; proficiency in Arabic and/or French is a plusBenefits: To be discussed during the interview
