Job Description
The Project Manager - Data Quality is a critical role within our Business Intelligence (BI) team, ensuring the highest standards of data quality and dashboard delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in BI, be detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills to work closely with clients and internal teams.
The incumbent will preferably have experience working in the advertising operations field, with Media Ad Management Platforms, CRM Platforms, and Website Analytics Platforms.
Technical & Product
Conduct comprehensive requirements discovery to fully understand client needs and document all specifications. Collaborate with clients to align on requirements, create mock-ups, and define deliverables, ensuring clear communication and understanding. Prepare detailed project execution documents, including resource management, timelines, and budget adherence, outlining all stages of the project from inception to delivery. Manage projects through to delivery, ensuring seamless execution and client satisfaction. This includes the preparation and execution of project plans, delivery timelines, and UATs. Perform thorough final QA for all dashboards before client delivery, ensuring all requirements are met and the final product aligns with client expectations. Ensure client approval for UATs, facilitating smooth development and deployment transitions. Continuously optimize and enhance existing BI products to improve functionality and user experience. Conduct regular audits and QA checks on existing dashboards and underlying technologies to ensure ongoing accuracy, relevance, performance, and up-to-date information. Identify and flag any errors for the relevant teams to resolve promptly. Build, implement, and handover taxonomies to ensure consistent and accurate data categorization and usage across BI platforms. Provide client training for dashboards to ensure proper understanding and utilization of BI tools.
Business Acumen & Operational Efficiency
Engage with clients and media teams to capture project requirements and translate them into scope of work documents for clients. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals, deliverables, and timelines. Prepare proposals and follow-ups to ensure client engagement and project momentum. Create and present pitch/presentation slides, articulating BI solutions effectively to clients. Generate weekly/monthly reports on project status, resource allocation, and BI performance. Drive initiatives to improve the overall efficiency and quality of BI team deliverables, fostering a culture of excellence. Develop and implement employee training plans to ensure continuous upskilling and proficiency in BI tools and practices.
Stay updated with industry trends and technologies to ensure continuous improvement and innovation in BI practices
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in a role focused on BI or Data Engineering. Degree-level qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, BI, or a related discipline Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint with strong presentation and communication skills. Proven experience in managing and delivering multiple complex data integration and BI projects. Strong understanding of SQL and its applications in data analysis and reporting. Familiarity with one or more BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Domo, or Datorama, with the ability to oversee their implementation and integration. Solid grasp of ETL processes, data architecture, and BI solution design, with the ability to guide teams in these areas. In-depth knowledge of data analysis techniques and processes, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Demonstrated experience in delivering end-to-end reporting solutions, including stakeholder management and project delivery. Comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle and its application in data projects. Broad knowledge of database architectures, distributed systems, data warehousing schemas, BI tools, and big data technologies, with the ability to oversee their implementation. Experience in overseeing Cloud data projects (BigQuery, Microsoft).
