PROJECT ARCHITECT

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Project Architect to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in architecture, particularly in multi-unit residential and hospitality sectors, and a passion for delivering high-quality projects. This role requires excellent technical skills, creativity, and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee the architectural design process from conceptualization to completion, ensuring that design intent and quality are maintained throughout.
• Develop detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and documentation for multi-unit residential and hospitality projects, focusing on large-scale developments (G+15-20).
• Coordinate and manage all phases of the architectural process, including feasibility studies, design development, and construction administration, with an emphasis on technical design development.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery, addressing any issues that may arise.
• Work closely with the design team, engineers, and consultants to ensure cohesive and integrated project delivery.
• Engage with clients to understand their requirements and incorporate feedback into the design process, ensuring satisfaction and alignment with project goals.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress, ensuring compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
• Review and approve shop drawings and submittals from contractors, ensuring technical accuracy and alignment with project specifications.
• Ensure all designs meet local building codes, regulations, and industry standards, preparing and submitting necessary documentation for permit approvals.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture or Architectural Technology.
• Minimum 5 years of architectural experience, with a focus on multi-unit residential and hospitality projects, specifically large-scale developments (G+15-20).
• Advanced proficiency in Revit (5+ years) and other architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Strong portfolio demonstrating design proficiency and completed projects, particularly in the UAE market.
• Local experience in the UAE (3-5 years), with a proven track record in managing complex architectural projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
