Level of experience: Intermediate RINA is currently recruiting for a Project and Proposal Manager - Consulting for Resilience and Emergency engineering to join its office in Abu Dhabi within the Italy Infrastructure & Mobility Division.is seeking a Project and Proposal Manager to be based in UAE, available to travel, about Resilience Engineering Consulting for critical assets, services and infrastructures, in particular related to risks from climate adaptation, natural disasters, major incidents (transports, industrial), health risks.The project and proposal manager is responsible for maintaining efficient and high calibre support for business development activities and in the interface with operations. The key focus of the role is to manage portfolio of clients and projects, also supporting the acquisitions of new contracts by coordinating the development of high-quality proposals, and when necessary, developing methodologies and approaches to deliver the services or to meet the clients’ requirements.
The role is about dealing with phases of mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery of crisis, disasters, emergencies, and their impacts on critical infrastructures.
Role shall be familiar with resilience concepts, guidelines, methods and standards, including also those related to Business Continuity and Risk Management.
Candidate shall have a background in geotechnical, structural, water infrastructures & hydrogeology for natural disasters streams, or in civil protection/ emergency management, emergency health impacts..
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a relevant role (Project Manager) Experience as 5 years in companies delivering project management, engineering design, research, public regulatory for risks from climate adaptation, natural disasters, major incidents (transports, industrial), health risks. Experience with standards for Business Continuity and Risk Management Relevant university level qualifications degree in Civil/ Architectural Engineering/ Planning/ Risk or Emergency Management. Disciplines related to geotechnical, structural for buildings (about critical services) and transports infrastructures, water infrastructures & hydrogeology for natural disasters streams, or in civil protection/ emergency management / civil defense, emergency health impacts, homeland security Excellent English written communication skills including writing and editing – ability to easily communicate the required ideas or concept and tailor responses to client specifications. Arabic language is a plus
