Program Manager – EPSP


The Program Manager works with Fortinet Expert Resellers to ensure the success of the “Engage Preferred Services Partner” (EPSP) program. The Program Manager’s goal is to optimize partner performance and oversee the various program tasks they manage. As the primary point of contact for all program-related inquiries, this non-technical role requires a proven track record in managing programs within the networking and security industry.


The Program Manager is responsible for the onboarding of new partners and ongoing collaboration with existing accredited partners, in alignment with the program’s processes. This role involves working closely with key internal teams such as Partner Stakeholders, Sales, Professional Services, Technical Support, and Marketing to ensure a technically sound, financially profitable, and supportable program execution.


The Program Manager will oversee the engagement of multiple stakeholders, including both prospective and active partners, and will require exceptional time management skills as well as a structured approach to driving top-tier partnerships within the IT security solutions field.


Responsibilities:


  • Establish, manage, and continuously improve standards and procedures within the team.
  • Implement Fortinet’s methodology and enforce program standards effectively.
  • Ensure all working practices are well-defined and operational with minimal disruption, leveraging technology to improve efficiency.
  • Set and evaluate progress against team targets, fostering a high-performance culture focused on teamwork, service excellence, and ownership of partner inquiries.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive program documentation.
  • Validate and confirm the accuracy of all supporting data, working to resolve any discrepancies.
  • Collaborate closely with all partner-facing functions, including Sales, Operations, Order Management, and Technical Support, to coordinate program activities.
  • Coordinate with internal resources to ensure seamless execution of the program.
  • Perform risk management to minimize program-related risks.
  • Report and escalate issues to management as needed.
  • Determine appropriate revenue recognition and ensure timely and accurate invoicing.
  • Facilitate team and partner meetings efficiently.
  • Ensure all legal program documents are completed and signed by relevant parties.
  • Manage relationships with partners and other stakeholders, acting as the primary point of contact.
  • Plan and execute the onboarding of new partners, including technical interviews, Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), and performance scorecards.
  • Develop and maintain schedules according to program milestones and the availability of all participants (both partners and Fortinet stakeholders).
  • Collect and analyze data to prepare quarterly scorecards prior to QBRs.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing inquiries from partners, sales teams, and other departments within Fortinet.
  • Understand and address the training and technical support needs of partners.
  • Coordinate meetings with partners to discuss technical requirements, estimate man-days, and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Provide necessary data to measure the overall success of the program and report progress to the Program Director in a timely manner.
