Overview of the role:


The Program Manager - PMO plays a critical role in driving the digital transformation of financial services across the Al Futtaim Group. This person will manage the transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and objectives. 


The role involves overseeing a team of external consultants from McKinsey and ensuring the successful execution of the transformation projects. The primary focus is on enhancing customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and value creation through innovative digital solutions.
 


What you will do:


Strategy Formulation, Analysis & Implementation:


  • Support the annual strategy cycle and build out strategic initiatives with stakeholders. Collaborate with internal and external partners to drive the strategic agenda. Lead the collection and organization of relevant data for initiative planning and analysis. Develop business cases and validate transformation plans.

Project Management:


  • Manage cross-functional projects and Agile PODs of medium to high complexity. Ensure projects align with the vision and objectives. Track progress of key initiatives and create data-driven insights for decision-making. Implement best practice standards in reporting and governance.

Leadership & Resource Management:
Mobilize and manage project resources, integrating the team to shared goals. Allocate work assignments and manage key stakeholders. Optimize engagement with system implementation vendors and drive end-to-end delivery of project outputs.
Governance & Communication:


  • Oversee project governance and direction, implementing course corrections as needed. Serve as the focal point for project communications to sponsors, stakeholders, and the Project Steering Committee.

Required Skills to be successful:


  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience as Program Manager in financial services 
  • Presentation and communication skills 
  • Preferred with IT or digital transformation experience 
  • Manage programs / projects from plan to execution 

About the Team:


  • You will be reporting to Head of Finance Transformation

What equips you for the role:


  • A business or technical degree from a reputable institute.
  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in strategic analysis, business consulting, business program management, and business transformation. Experience in front office/growth strategy, business model generation, and benefits realization is preferred.
