Procurement Specialist

12-month contract – with extensions

Up to14K AED p/month + visa + healthcare

I am working with a leading bank in the region who are looking for a Procurement Specialist to join them on an initial 12 month contract:

This role will play a critical part in optimizing their procurement processes, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring cost-effective purchasing strategies for their technology needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans to procure IT hardware, software, and services that align with the company’s goals.
• Evaluate and negotiate contracts with key suppliers, ensuring quality, cost savings, and timely delivery of tech-related products and services.
• Conduct market research to identify emerging technologies, vendors, and best practices to drive procurement excellence.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide procurement solutions that support business objectives.
• Manage supplier relationships, including performance reviews, contract negotiations, and conflict resolution.
• Monitor procurement budgets and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising on quality or efficiency.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes that impact procurement decisions.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in procurement, with a focus on strategic buying in the tech industry.
• Strong understanding of IT procurement (hardware, software, services) and vendor management.
• Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
• Solid analytical and decision-making abilities, with a focus on driving cost efficiencies.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
