We’re currently looking for a procurement manager to add to our high-impact team. Reporting to the supply chain manager, the ideal candidate should have a proven ability to organise a team around priorities and implement initiatives that drive results. You thrive in a high-energy, fast-paced, high-change, and dynamic work environment.
You have excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to build trust and credibility with business partners. You will also own and drive all our supplier relationships, ensuring we deliver exceptional quality and value for our customers. You will lead from the front and drive tactical initiatives that positively influence our processes, operating systems, and ERP. You will focus on redefining and scaling our procurement function, helping to translate supply-market value into product value for our end customers.

Accountabilities, goals, and outcomes
- Supplier performance and contract compliance.
- Procurement cycle time and new ingredient adoption rate.
- Spend evaluation and cost savings.
What you’ll do
- Participate in developing and implementing practices and procurement strategies aligned with the overall business objectives.
- Building and managing relationships with suppliers, evaluating their capabilities, conducting supplier performance assessments.
- Identifying and selecting suppliers through comprehensive evaluation processes to secure the best terms to optimise cost and quality.
- Driving cost savings initiatives to maximise cost efficiencies and deliver value across the procurement function.
- Assessing and mitigating supply chain risks to ensure continuity of supply and minimise disruptions.
- Collaborating with suppliers to identify opportunities for innovation fostering mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Ensuring procurement activities comply with legal and ethical standards, including regulatory requirements, sustainability practices, and responsible sourcing principles.
- Promoting a culture of continuous improvement within the procurement function, leveraging technology to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness.
What we’re looking for
- Minimum 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in procurement, including at least 3 years in a management role, ideally within the e-commerce or food industry.
- Excellent negotiation, supplier development and management skills.
- Very strong analytical skills with strong commercial acumen.
- Deep knowledge of strategic sourcing, category management, and supplier management.
- Strong experience in the end-to-end supply chain, with a specific focus on forecasting and demand planning to ensure consistent, on-time delivery.
- Experience with new product development and/or sourcing of new products and bringing them to the market.
- Good understanding of the technical aspects of packaging, food quality and safety.
- Previous experience of contract manufacturing and importing products would be an advantage.
