Role Profile:


Supporting NPD Team to transfer their innovative ideas to production for Commercialization.


The below Key Performance Areas include but are not limited to:



  • Analyzing process capability and Gaps against the New product brief.
  • Writing WI and specification for new products
  • Recipe and yield validation
  • Organizing Shop floor trails of new products and validation of process parameter.
  • Conducting transit and packaging suitability trail
  • Managing handover of new products in between Operations and NPD team
  • investigate insourcing of RF supply chain where appropriate – Fixed BTP matches, Internal repairs
  • Collecting trial or first production samples for customers, nutrition, cooking instructions, process meetings, sauce only
  • Completion of trial and first production reports
  • Managing and driving cross functional teams from handover to 1st productions
  • Scale-up, start-up, trouble-shoot/problem solve and optimize new and existing manufacturing and filling processes for new and existing products.
  • The individual will help define the technical success criteria required for the successful start-up and on-going production.
  • They will pro-actively work side-by-side with formulators / chemists as well the manufacturing facilities (Supply Chain) to provide technical expertise in the areas manufacturing and filling processes and equipment.
  • The individual will also establish and maintain relationships with the Global Technical Transfer Team colleagues for the successful transfer of products from R&D to the Manufacturing facilities
  • The individual will prepare the necessary documents and reports that summarize tests, observations, processing concerns, manufacturing constraints, project progress, recommendations and decisions as finalized.
  • Leads product quality improvement projects.

Knowledge:


  •  Must have Degree in Food technology
  • Must have knowledge of Food Chemistry
  • Must have knowledge of Food Nutrition 

Experience:


  •  Minimum 5 Years’ experience in Food R&D or NPD

Skills:


  •  Influence and Negotiation
  •  Organization and analysis
  • Attention to detail
  • Communication

Additional role requirements:


Experience in Ready meals and Fresh Food
