Conduct process safety studies and analyses for the Engineering phase of oil and gas projects, including FEED and Detailed Engineering.
Develop and implement process safety strategies, guidelines, and procedures in compliance with ADNOC standards and international best practices.
Perform Hazard Identification (HAZID), Hazard and Operability Studies (HAZOP), Quantitative Risk Assessments (QRA), and Safety Integrity Level (SIL) analysis.
Evaluate and ensure compliance with ADNOC regulations and project-specific safety requirements.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate process safety principles into project designs and ensure alignment with operational safety objectives.
Prepare and review technical safety documentation, such as Design Safety Cases, Emergency Response Plans, and Fire and Explosion Risk Assessments (FERA).
Conduct Process Hazard Analyses (PHA) and implement corrective actions for identified risks.
Support the implementation of ADNOCs Loss Prevention standards across all engineering deliverables.
Provide technical expertise during audits, reviews, and safety-related investigations.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum 8-10 years of experience in process safety engineering within the oil and gas industry.
Extensive experience in the Engineering phase (FEED and Detailed Engineering) of large-scale oil and gas projects.
Previous work experience with ADNOC projects is mandatory.
Familiarity with ADNOC standards, guidelines, and approval processes.
Expertise in safety tools and software such as PHAST, BowTie XP, or similar.
Strong understanding of international process safety standards (API, NFPA, IEC, etc.).
