Purpose


We are seeking an experienced and strategic-minded individual to join our team as a Process and Quality Manager. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of operational processes and will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing quality management systems. This role will involve analyzing data to identify compliance gaps, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring that the highest standards of quality are met across all operations.


What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)


Process Documentation and Improvement


Shadow employees to observe and understand workflows across various functions, documenting the "as-is" processes with clarity to capture all steps, dependencies, and pain points. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify inefficiencies and design optimized "to-be" processes that address gaps and enhance efficiency. Ensure the improved processes are accurately documented and implemented, aligning them with organizational objectives and customer expectations.


Process Governance and Compliance Develop and implement a robust process governance framework to ensure processes are consistently followed and compliance is maintained across the organization. Establish clear guidelines and monitoring mechanisms to identify and address deviations. Promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, ensuring that governance practices align with organizational goals and drive operational excellence.


Risk Management Develop and implement a comprehensive risk management framework to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks across operations. Establish clear strategies and monitoring practices to address vulnerabilities and ensure business continuity. Foster a proactive approach to risk management, integrating it into decision-making processes and aligning it with organizational objectives to enhance resilience and operational stability.


Data Analysis and Reporting Conduct thorough data analysis to monitor process compliance, identify trends, uncover root causes of non-compliance, and pinpoint areas for improvement. Develop and present detailed reports and dashboards using business intelligence tools to provide actionable insights, ensuring informed decision-making and continuous enhancement of compliance practices.


Quality Management System Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and other relevant standards. Ensure processes are standardized, documented, and continuously improved.


Leadership and Training Mentor and train team members on quality standards, process improvements, and best practices. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within the organization.


Stakeholder Engagement Collaborate with senior leadership, operations teams, and other stakeholders to align quality initiatives with business objectives. Communicate effectively to drive quality improvements and operational changes.


Continuous Improvement Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to quality assurance and process management. Proactively identify opportunities for innovation and recommend strategic improvements.


Adhoc Responsibilities Handle any additional tasks or projects as delegated by the Line Manager.



Qualifications

Education and Certification:


Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Supply Chain management, Quality Management, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) are preferred.


Knowledge and Skills Needed:


  • Proven experience in a quality management or process documentation and improvement role, preferably in a fast-paced logistics or manufacturing environment.


  • Deep understanding of quality management systems, compliance requirements, and risk management.


  • Advanced analytical skills with expertise in data analysis techniques and tools.


  • Proficiency in creating reports and dashboards using business intelligence tools such as Power BI or similar.


  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to develop innovative solutions to complex issues.


  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.


  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.


  • Strategic thinking and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.


Experience:


  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality management, process improvement, or a similar role.
