We are seeking a visionary and detail-oriented Principal Engineer - Dry Utilities to join our innovative team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this key role, you will lead the design and implementation of complex dry utility systems, focusing on electrical, telecommunications, and related infrastructure projects across the region and beyond.

• Spearhead the engineering design and modification of electrical and electronic systems, with a focus on dry utilities infrastructure
• Develop and oversee large-scale electrical systems, including power transmission, distribution networks, and control systems
• Lead the planning and execution of street lighting, high mast area lighting, and EV charging station projects
• Manage the design of telecommunication networks, ELV systems, and ICT infrastructure
• Conduct and review complex engineering calculations for cable sizing, voltage drop, earthing, and fault level analysis
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated and efficient infrastructure solutions
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and project teams
• Ensure compliance with local UAE regulations and international engineering standards
• Drive innovation in sustainable and smart infrastructure solutions
• Oversee quality control and risk management for all dry utility projects

• Master of Engineering degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited university
• 15 years of experience in dry utilities and infrastructure engineering, with significant exposure to international projects, particularly in the Middle East, UK, USA, Canada, and ANZ regions
• Proven expertise in electrical systems design, including EHV, HV, MV, and LV systems
• Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Dialux, AGI, Lighting Reality, Amtech, and ETAP
• Strong knowledge of power systems, electronic and transmission equipment, and control systems
• Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale infrastructure projects
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
• Strong leadership abilities and experience mentoring junior engineers
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment
• Familiarity with UAE engineering regulations and international standards
• Proven track record of driving innovation in infrastructure design and planning
• Experience with sustainable and smart city initiatives is highly desirable
