We are looking for an outstanding SENDCo Primary Teacher to join our team at GEMS Wellington Academy, Al Khail from September 2025.

Job Purpose:
To provide strategic leadership and operational management of the school’s SEND provision, ensuring the effective implementation of policies and high-quality teaching for students of determination. The SENDCo will foster an inclusive culture, working collaboratively with staff and families to help all students thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the identification, assessment, and support of students of determination. Implement and review the Inclusion Improvement Plan. Ensure compliance with statutory obligations and SEND policies. Support staff with inclusive teaching strategies and intervention programmes. Liaise with external agencies and provide guidance on transitions and post-school pathways. Line manage Inclusion staff and ensure effective deployment of resources.
Skills
Requirements: B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE, or equivalent in Primary teaching or similar. Experience teaching the British curriculum with a focus on SEND. Proven track record of outstanding teaching and student progress. At least 2 years of experience in the National Curriculum of England.
