President & COO (crypto industry experience required)

Hiring for a large crypto-currency company in Abu Dhabi.

Job summary:

The President & COO of our cryptocurrency company is responsible for providing strategic leadership and vision to ensure the successful management of operational activities and the achievement of our corporate objectives. This role involves driving the company's development and guiding it towards long-term success by establishing robust operational frameworks, strategic partnerships, and key business initiatives. The President & COO is expected to be deeply knowledgeable about the cryptocurrency market, blockchain technology, and financial regulations impacting the industry.

Responsibilities:

• Provide visionary leadership to the company, setting operational strategy in line with the company’s growth objectives.
  
• Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of executives in IT, Marketing, Sales, Finance, and other departments.
  
• Translate strategy into actionable goals, promote a company culture that encourages top performance, and high morale.
  
• Develop performance indicators and drive the company to achieve and surpass sales, profitability, cash flow, and business goals and objectives.
  
• Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment within the company.
  
• Partner with the CEO and other key members of senior management to establish operational processes/policies that are aligned with the company’s goals and ensure their proper execution.
  
• Ensure the company’s financial strength and operating efficiency through strategic investments and management of resources.
  
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of the cryptocurrency industry, including regulatory issues and market trends, to anticipate challenges and opportunities.
  
• Establish policies that promote company culture and vision, and oversee the implementation of business strategies set by the Board of Directors.
  
• Oversee the company's transaction processing systems, ensuring operational excellence in all aspects of the company's operations.
  
• Spearhead the development, communication, and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes.
  
• Collaborate with the executive leadership team to formulate and execute new business initiatives.
  
• Address challenges and opportunities in the cryptocurrency market, including partnerships, alliances, and new ventures.
  
• Act as a lead "client-care officer" through direct contact with customers and partners of the company.
  
• Analyze problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure company survival and growth.
  

• Proven experience as a COO, Vice President, or in a relevant role within the cryptocurrency or financial services industries.
  
• Minimum 15+ years of experience, with atleast 4+ years of experience in the related field.
  
• Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development.
  
• Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics.
  
• Understanding of blockchain technology, digital assets, and cryptocurrency ecosystems.
  
• Ability to drive initiatives in complex and rapidly-changing environments.
  
• Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities, including excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills.
  
• Aptitude for decision-making and problem-solving.
  
• Experience with corporate governance and regulatory compliance.
  
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a relevant field; an MBA is preferred.
