PLUMBING BIM MODELER (REMOTE WORK)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and manage Building Information Modeling (BIM) for plumbing systems across residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
• Collaborate with design consultants, architects, and engineering teams to integrate plumbing systems within overall project designs.
• Create, review, and adjust detailed plumbing BIM models to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Prepare and present 3D plumbing designs and visualizations to communicate technical aspects effectively to clients and stakeholders.
• Conduct regular reviews of BIM models, ensuring design feasibility and consistency with project timelines and budget constraints.
• Stay informed about the latest developments in BIM technology, software updates, and best practices for efficient plumbing design.
• Mentor and support junior BIM modelers and drafters, providing guidance on modeling standards, best practices, and project workflows.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field with a focus on plumbing design.
• 5+ years of experience in plumbing design and BIM modeling, preferably within a design consultancy environment.
• Proficiency in BIM software, such as Revit, AutoCAD MEP, and Navisworks.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with sustainable design practices and systems (LEED or other green building certifications is a plus).
