We’re recruiting a 'Project Engineer’ for one of our clients based in Dubai, UAE. About Our Client: Our client is a leading construction company in Dubai, known for delivering high-quality projects with precision and innovation. Their expertise, reliability, and focus on sustainable construction make them a trusted name in the UAE’s construction sector. Key Responsibilities:
Develop comprehensive construction schedules using tools like Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent
Break down the project into phases, activities
Ensure alignment of the construction schedule with project objectives, design deliverables, and resource availability
Plan and allocate resources (labor, materials, equipment) efficiently to meet project deadlines
Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment
Monitor construction progress against the baseline schedule and identify deviations
Prepare regular progress reports, including critical path analysis, delays, and mitigation strategies
Identify potential risks and delays in the construction process
Work closely with project managers, architects, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure seamless execution
Assist in budget preparation and cost estimation for construction activities
Requirements
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree is an advantage
Experience: A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in construction planning, ideally for high-rise buildings ranging from 16 to 20 floors
Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management tools such as Primavera P6 and MS Project
Expertise: In-depth understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and processes
Certifications: PMP, PMI-SP, or equivalent certifications are highly preferred
