PIPING ENGINEER

We are seeking an experienced Piping Engineer to join our team for the engineering phase of an onshore oil and gas project based in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5-10 years of experience working in the engineering phase of oil and gas projects, with a strong background in ADNOC projects. The role will involve working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure the successful execution of piping design and engineering deliverables in line with project specifications and ADNOC standards.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and review piping design, layouts, and isometrics in accordance with project requirements and ADNOC specifications.
• Perform stress analysis, pipe sizing, and material selection for onshore oil and gas facilities.
• Prepare and review piping engineering deliverables, including PFDs, P&IDs, material take-offs (MTO), and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, procurement teams, and project stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Conduct technical evaluations, feasibility studies, and risk assessments related to piping systems.
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC standards, international codes (ASME, API, ANSI, etc.), and industry best practices.
• Support HSE requirements by ensuring that piping designs meet safety and environmental regulations.
• Participate in design reviews, model reviews, and technical meetings with clients and vendors.
• Provide technical support during construction and pre-commissioning phases as required.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in piping engineering within the engineering phase of oil and gas projects.
• Previous experience working on ADNOC projects is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of piping design software such as AutoPIPE, Caesar II, and 3D modeling tools.
• Familiarity with engineering deliverables, material selection, and stress analysis.
• Excellent understanding of ASME, API, ANSI, and ADNOC standards.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Immediate availability is required.
