Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced People Advisor with a deep understanding of labor laws, compliance, immigration, and employee relations across the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region. This role demands strong experience in managing HR operations, employee relations, and corporate insurance, while ensuring compliance with local statutory regulations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for advising on complex issues across multiple jurisdictions, including the UAE, KSA, Oman, Qatar, South Africa, and other countries in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise on local labor laws, regulatory requirements, and best HR practices across the MEA region, including the UAE, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait, KSA, Qatar, South Africa, Nigeria, Morocco, Egypt, Kazakhstan, and Mozambique.
- Provide expert guidance on complex employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with national regulations such as Emiratization in the UAE, nationalization quotas in KSA and Oman, engineers' quotas in KSA, and licensing requirements in Bahrain.
- Utilize Saudi government portals (QIWA, GOSI, Mudad, Muqeem) for effective management of HR operations, employee services, and compliance.
- Manage corporate insurance policies, including renewals, compliance, and understanding insurance frameworks across the region.
- Offer generalist HR support across all HR disciplines, ensuring smooth HR operations and addressing employee relations issues.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Provide solutions for complex HR situations, offering guidance and driving resolutions under pressure.
- Maintain high standards of integrity, professionalism, and discretion in handling sensitive information.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field. CIPD certification is a plus.
- Extensive experience in HR advisory roles across the MEA region, with strong knowledge of labor laws, immigration matters, and compliance requirements.
- Hands-on experience with Saudi government portals (QIWA, GOSI, Mudad, Muqeem) and managing corporate insurance policies.
- Proven ability to handle complex employee relations issues and provide strategic HR guidance.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion in handling sensitive matters.
- Stakeholder management experience with a focus on relationship building both internally and externally.
