Responsibilities:

- Perform surgical procedures such as appendectomies, hernia repairs, and tumor removals

- Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
- Educate patients and their families on post-surgical care and recovery
- Stay up-to-date with medical advancements and participate in regular professional development activities
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a sterile environment during surgeries
- Manage and maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Requirements:
- Medical degree from an accredited university
- Completion of residency in general surgery and fellowship in pediatric surgery
- Board certification in Pediatric Surgery
- Valid medical license to practice in the state
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and ability to handle stressful situations
- Ability to work well in a team and independently
- Prior experience in pediatric surgery is preferred
