Job description-
The role should primarily be responsible for managing solution delivery for Payment projects. The role will closely work with application owners, partners, PMO and Testing Manager and Test Engineer, business and other integration stake holders to finalize the delivery plan, ensure all tasks and milestones are covered in the plan with clear tasks, responsibilities and dates. The role should track the delivery and implementation progress on day to day basis, work with cross functional team members to ensure tasks are completed on time as per plan and scope with quality.
Manage Payments system implementation in multiple geographies, transformation programs.
Understanding of Payments systems, integration with Core banking and Gateway systems like SWIFT, ACH, RTGS, Clearing.
Command on end to end Project Management lifecycle.
Able to efficiently communicate with Partners, Business and Senior Management.
Manage Program scope, change process, implementation, testing, defect triage, release, training, simulation and rollout planning.
Periodic reporting of the progress, milestones and updates to the tech management and stakeholders.
Drive the delivery of Payments solutions and projects.
Work in partnership with Business Product Owners, Business Analyst, and other Technology teams.
Should be able to understand Business requirements and translate this to vendor specific documents.
Analyze System issues, participate in Root Cause Analysis and actively participate in decision for issues prioritization.
Coordinate with vendor on Issues/ Defect Resolution.
Support all testing phases and relevant documents (Strategy, Scenarios, Test Data) -SIT, Regressions, Performance tuning and integrations.
Perform Impact assessments of Change Request on Implemented product and facilitate Production deployments.
Coordinate product training for Business & Operations users.
Manage Key stake holders during Business process interactions and reviews.
Manage Technology stakeholders for deployments.
Manage Conflicting requirements
Optimize technology solution delivery based on business requirements, existing applications, latest technology trends, total cost to operate, scalability and stability.
Provide innovative approaches to Business problems by utilizing existing applications / recommending enhancements.
Change prioritization and end to end impact assessments & implementation of changes in-line with business objectives/priorities.
Co-ordinate Testing and Release
Work with team members participating in back up and training activities.
Adhere to bank's operational risk policy.
Internal functions and work practices as per policy, compliance and procedures of the organization.
Bachelor of Engineering in Computer science or Postgraduate
12+ years’ experience in experience in relevant areas
Knowledge of Banking domain is a must
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Experience of working in large scale transformation Project – involving Process optimization and changes.
Good verbal and written communication including ability to prepare system documentation.
Ability to interpret solution documentation and identify areas of concern and recommend approach.
Ability to multi-task in a dynamic work environment.
Ability to document integration and detailed design specs for large scale banking applications.
Working knowledge and experience in designing distributed applications
Working knowledge and experience in deploying and exposing APIs using API Connect.
