Location: Legal Department, HQ - BurJuman, Dubai
Reports To: Director Legal
Job Summary:
The Paralegal plays a crucial role in supporting the Legal Department by conducting legal research, drafting documents, organizing files, and assisting in case preparation. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Legal Research and Analysis
- Conduct research on relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents.
- Summarize findings and prepare comprehensive reports for attorneys.
2. Document Preparation
- Draft, review, and proofread legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and pleadings.
- Prepare case summaries, legal memoranda, and correspondence.
3. Case Management
- Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documentation is up to date and easily accessible.
- Coordinate the filing of legal documents with courts and regulatory authorities.
4. Administrative Support
- Schedule meetings, hearings, and depositions while managing attorneys calendars.
- Assist in billing and tracking legal expenses.
5. Client and Witness Liaison
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and external counsel under attorney supervision.
- Assist in preparing clients and witnesses for hearings or depositions.
6. Compliance and Due Diligence
- Support compliance efforts by reviewing policies and procedures to ensure legal adherence.
- Assist in due diligence processes for mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.
Qualifications & Skills:
1. Education & Experience
- Bachelors degree in law, legal studies, or a related field.
- Paralegal certification or diploma (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal or legal assistant.
- Experience in corporate law, litigation, intellectual property, or real estate is an advantage.
2. Key Competencies
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.

Working Conditions:
- Full-time office-based role with occasional travel to courts, client meetings, or other locations as needed.
- Extended working hours may occasionally be required to meet deadlines.
