At Deriv, we’re looking for a talented Outsystems Developer to spearhead our digital transformation initiatives. In this role, you’ll innovate our products and processes, leveraging low-code platforms to turn ideas into impactful solutions rapidly.
As a key technology team member, you’ll be responsible for developing applications that enhance our trading platforms and internal operations. You’ll use your expertise in low-code development to create efficient, user-centric solutions that address complex business challenges and drive our company forward.
On a given day, you will:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using the OutSystems low-code platform to meet business requirements.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and team members to understand application requirements and ensure high-quality deliverables.
Ensure that all application development is aligned with architectural standards, security guidelines, and best practices.
Work with cross-functional teams to integrate third-party services and applications into the OutSystems platform.
Work with Deriv’s design team to ensure best-in-class UX practices are adopted
Participate in code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure efficient performance and stability of applications.
Collaborate within an Agile development environment, ensuring iterative and incremental delivery.
Mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team
You may enjoy working with us if you:
Experience with other low code tools and services such as Supabase or N8N
Familiarity with Typescript-based frameworks like React.js, Vue.js
Familiarity with Node.js and the wider NPM ecosystem
OutSystems Certification (Professional or Expert level).
We would love to work with you if you:
5 years of hands-on experience in OutSystems development, with a strong understanding of its wider ecosystem and capabilities
Proven experience in building applications using the OutSystems platform, including web and mobile solutions
Solid experience in working in an Outsystems Development Cloud (ODC) or similar remote development environments
Proficiency in integra4ting external systems (e.g., APIs, databases) into the OutSystems platform
Strong knowledge of web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS
