Operational Responsibilities
1. Ensure timely delivery of merchandises through consistent communication and follow-up with the vendors.
2. Interface with vendors to acquire materials and services at reasonable cost and in a timely manner.
3. Negotiate and settle with suppliers regarding damage claims, rejections, losses, return of materials, cancellations and goods exchanges in favor of Dubai Customs.
4. Conduct supplier site visits and evaluate their capability, performance quality, on-time delivery and their track record on their fields of expertise.
5. Process material requisitions into purchase orders to suppliers for initiating delivery of goods.
6. Compile and maintain purchase records by assuring the purchase activities are fully documented and maintained properly for any future reference.
7. Develop effective relationships with purchasing officials to facilitate business transactions and enhance future acquisitions.
8. Assist in preparation for pre-market analysis reports in order to prepare statistical comparison for the purchase activity.
9. Maintain and update product catalogs, vendor files and price lists for future references.
10. Performa all the assigned tasks from the line manager with reliability, honesty, and discretion.

Experience
• Bachelor Degree in supply chain management, or business administration
Minimum Qualification
• 0 – 3 years of experience in relate field
