Job Description
- Develop, implement, and manage HSE policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate and conduct HSE training within the market to ensure awareness and adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with unit managers to integrate HSE considerations into operational and strategic planning.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of HSE initiatives and compliance with regulatory requirements to the F&V Market General Manager.
- Stay updated on new regulations, industry trends, and best practices in health, safety, and environmental management.
- Ensure all incidents are reported, investigated, and followed up with corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Maintain accurate records of HSE incidents, inspections, training, and compliance activities.
- Promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility across all levels of the organization.
- Develop emergency response plans and coordinate regular drills to ensure preparedness.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and industry organizations to ensure alignment with best practices.
- Provide guidance and support to employees and management on HSE matters.
- Analyze HSE data and trends to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted initiatives.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall effectiveness of the HSE program.
